On Flying Away, Home

I had my son this week. We discussed movie options, and decided on one from my collection, Fly Away Home, starring Anna Paquin, Jeff Daniels, and Dana Delaney. He liked it well enough we watched it twice. If you’re not familiar with the movie, essentially the protagonists, 14 year old female, was in a car crash with her mother. Mother dies, and she goes to live with her father. She finds and raises geese, and in effort to teach them to fly south for the winter, she learns to fly an ultralight.
