Oops, Science Says the Universe Is Older Than We Thought!

This aint like Pluto loosing it’s planet status because humans changed the definition of planets. This is just humans realizing we lack clarity of vision.

“If the findings of this latest research prove accurate, the Big Bang may have taken place 26.7 billion years ago, making the actual age of the universe nearly twice as old as we thought.” That’s interesting. It also makes you wonder, how many times will science reveal we don’t know everything and that we can stop punishing people who disagree with science? Science doesn’t mean you know everything, it just helps define what you know at the time that you know.

Also, it looks like time may have been slower at the beginning of time. How hard is that to wrap your head around. Well, we do know that as you approach a black hole, time slows down from the perspective of someone outside watching you. You don’t notice the time difference, but observers do. So, if the universe was born from a singularity, essentially we were born from black hole, wouldn’t it just appear as if time was moving slower back then, but from someone living there, it was flowing normally?
