Perhaps if people were as quick to jump on the inexplicable as they are the explainable, we'd have a better public conversation? Cause you're right, it seems like the journalist and skeptic truly don't know the history. It's hard to have a conversation with someone who has limited knowledge of the complexity and scope of this phenomena.

The Congressional UFO reports strike me as odd, as they discuss the things they ruled out. Like, adding 500 new cases, and yet 'more than half' were explained away, and so why were they in a report on unknowns at all? Are the folks writing the reports saying the same thing the journalist keep emphasizing, 'it all prosaic?' For the same reason, or is the military still pushing old agendas? And why isn't anyone following up on that line?
