In a world in which every thing you hear, see, read, watch, and consume has an unconscious level of control over you, how do you discern the truth?

Before we dive into this convoluted universe, let’s consider the average dream. Dreams come with a particular level of consciousness. It’s not zero. Zero would be non-REM states. Lucid dreaming would be somewhere in the 80s. You thought I would assign that to the 90s, or 100 percent, but I want to allow that to be the state of enlightenment, where monks are levitating and creating miracles. Daily consciousness is mostly tapped out around 50 percentile. Perhaps if you got cut off suddenly in traffic and you became aware of your environment, you reached 60 percent for a moment before the road lulled you back to sleep.
