Revisiting Narnia and other Magical Worlds

My son has been giving me hints of sadness. He would prefer he had a different name. He wishes he was an adult before his scheduled time. He wishes he was taller, stronger, faster. I remember being a child and thinking the same thing, though his world and mine, they were different worlds. It’s not an envy for his I describe, but perhaps a puzzlement as his world was much more peaceful than the chaos I was born into. That said, I am not blind to the loneliness in the lives of kids these days. Gone are the days of being free…
