What if I told you “The Secret” is real, and you had the ability to manifest, or summon, anything into reality by simply thinking? Once you knew how, what would be the first thing you would do? If you are a normal, hormone driven adolescent, you’d probably use that ability to get laid. The movie “Weird Science” might be your inspiration. Or Ghostbusters; the scene where Dan Aykroyd gets pleasured by a ghost comes to mind. Did you know, Dan is one of a handful of celebrities who reports he has experienced sex with ghosts? No joke, look it up.
Sometimes we laugh about these things because, well, frankly- many of us still hold a juvenile relationship with sex. I am one of them. How much sex do you suppose a person needs to have before one can really say they’re experienced? Is life experience part of maturity? There is indeed some magic, transcendence, involved in sex. Transcendent Sex: When Lovemaking Opens the Veil, by Jenny Wade, Ph.D has an interesting collection of accounts of just how life altering sex can be. In one metaphor, not verbatim, there are people who have meditated for twenty, thirty years, who have not had their ‘break out’ experiences- while people who in the process of just going about their normal life- IE, they had sex- were knocked out of their body at levels of transcendence that a marriage of Whitman and Rumi would likely fail to obtain.
