Shrooms, the Alien Invaders

I have not used shrooms. I am not opposed to shrooms, and after a long episodes of migraines so bad that I was frequently sedated, I was informed shrooms can help stop migraines- I became more open to their use. I am not savvy enough to go find mushrooms, beyond a pizza parlor. I am definitely not saying- go find shrooms. I did find one in the yard that seemed like an alien, and it oozed this red gel that was as shiny as the razzberry sauce bleeding from a donut. I was tempted, but did not sample. It went away and I never saw it again. In my childhood, I told one of my baby sitters about the aliens that came at night. She drew a saucer, turned it into a mushroom, and turned the aliens into shroom people. God, I loved her. And so, I found this video- ‘Are Mushrooms a Form of Alien Mind Control’ and was transported back to childhood, to that babysitter turning UFOs into shrooms in an effort to reduce my fear of being abducted.

This is not about me, or my childhood episodes of abductions. I say that, but can anyone write about something that is not them? I am not even saying I was abducted. I had this stretch of time, as a child, that fits a pattern, but there was sufficient other stuff going on, I can easily make an argument for psychological dissociation. In hindsight, anyway.
