Going to the Movies
I haven’t been to the movies since Covid. I was kind of looking forward to the outing. Maybe I am getting old. Maybe going alone just isn’t as appealing. I am not fond of assigned seats. I had a reasonably good seat. The theatre was full. There was bit of a conflict on my row as a party didn’t want to acknowledge they got their seat numbers wrong, but it worked itself out without blood shed. A group of teenagers in the very front ran amok throughout. This was my preferred theatre, and there was a stain on the screen. No one was wearing masks…
Mind you, I am not worried about getting Covid. I have had my vaccination. When the others reluctantly adjusted seats closer, I assured them I had mine. “I had mine plus a booster, and you?” Um, no, I am done with shots unless there is a mandate. Speaking of mandates, is it hypocritical to demand workers get vaccinated but we don’t have prove we’re vaccinated to see a movie? We’re going to mandate citizens, but not question the people crossing the border?
Okay, back to the movies…
