Steve Bassett, UFO Lobbyist, stands out as one of the more optimistic UFOlogists. What makes him different?

You will find Steve Bassett in many a podcast, but rarely interviewed by the traditional guard. The latest podcast discusses this, and a multiplicity of political articulation points to the unfolding of UFO disclosure. The way he describes this process is more than hopeful. It’s rational! He coined the term ‘Truth Embargo,’ which is better than ‘UFO Cover Up’ which leaves those involved in a criminal position. By freeing those in the know to come forwards, humanity moves forwards. It’s time everyone knows, we’re not alone.

It’s clear to anyone paying attention, humanity has taken more steps towards disclosure since 2017 than we have moved since 1947. In 2021, a Washington Post article said “it’s time to stop UFO mania.” It was a plea. It was begging. The writer himself was on the verge of hysteria. It linked UFOs with ‘crazy’ mania, while failing to self assess his own level of crazy reaction. It was wrong. The truth that humans are not alone in the universe, much less on this planet, will be known by everyone.
