UFOs and History
Is history an art or a science? Science should be objective. Is history ever completely objective? Who controls history? How many historical mile markers have been destroyed because humanity couldn’t stand to look at itself in the mirror? Why is the story of the Sumerians as seen through the eyes of Zecharia Sitchin dismissed so easily? I find his story particularly fascinating when you couple him with Carl Sagan, who wrote a scientific paper endorsing ‘if you want to find aliens, look at history,’ specifying the Sumerians because they are likely the first contact civilization. Why do we allow the ancient Mesopotamian city of Eridu to go unstudied, and plundered? Per Matthew Lacroix, in a startling alternative history video below, no other ancient sight is so abused. Academic would cry fowl if any other site was so badly molested.
If Eridu, like Gobekli Tepe, is so important, why do they sit unexamined? Do historians, archaeologists, really want to disturb the history of humanity? Are they afraid of what they will find? Will it destroy the careers of many and require us to throw out history? Humanity loves throwing away history books! I am not even talking about just the history being re-written in the states, where significant Jewish artist were banned from universities, or monuments to people 200 hundred years ago have been torn down.
