UFOs are real. Hon-human sentient entities are real. Telepathy is real. What if our own fears of our heart is what slows humanity’s roll towards disclosure?

Accept the premise of this essay’s subtitle, even if you have to leave it as hypothetical. Mind you, there is technology available today that can essentially read minds. fMRI machines can record REM dreams, producing fuzzy pictures on a monitor. Earbuds can tell your employer you’re doing your job, surfing the net, and or gossiping about people, or holding conversation not work related. Telepathy may be as old as humanity itself. How would knowing this impact our lives?

The story of Adam and Eve is interesting when you consider the story from a telepathic perspective. Adam and Eve didn’t hide from God because of their physicality, but because of what was in their heart and mind.

Telepathy should naturally lead to empathy for all beings. It is more difficult to kill when you have to do it by hand. Less hard with a knife or a rock. Less hard with a gun. Less hard with a bomb. But if you have to look your enemy in the eye, it is hard because we have empathy.
