Telling the World in Drips: It’s Aliens

Ran Chakrabarti, having worked in Diplomatic Service in Geneva, the United Nations in New York, Reuters in New Delhi, is meandering through the ‘alien’ landmines of the US legislature. Is he casually introducing aliens to his world followers?

Ran Chakrabarti article in Fair Observer, World News, UFO Disclosure: The Most Significant Law in Human History? seems fair enough. I am rather fond of his conversational approach, walking through this house and touching on a few casual artifacts until he brings you to focus on the subject at hand: aliens. Walking through anyone’s house is a sacred affair. You would think I, as a counselor, would remember this as I analyze the works of others, teasing out shared truths. Ultimately, I do think we’re all looking for answers. I moved beyond the ‘are we alone’ question a long time ago. I am more interested in why there isn’t open contact already.

There is no mistaking Chakrabarti’s thumbnail image. It’s the front page of an old paper that I suspect everyone recognizes. Aliens crashed at Roswell. You can’t touch this alien story without invoking that iconic meme. There is no way to remove that from the psyche of humans. It resonates too deeply. It touches on the collective fears and hopes we all share.

The introductory sections of the act hit you like an express train. Section 9002(a)(4) states that: “Legislation is necessary because credible evidence and testimony indicates that Federal Government unidentified anomalous phenomena records exist and have not been declassified or subject to mandatory declassification review.”

The house metaphor stands starkly in mind, and not just because it took a house to play these cards, as Chakrabarti is an intruder in his own rightful domain. The discovery of this thing is disquieting. How could I have lived all my life and not seen this? How is it my fellow humans have kept this from me? How is it there are still so many humans not even curious enough to pause and be quiet and pay attention.

It’s like being an intruder in his own house, at a party in his honor, only no one is talking to…
