Thank you for recommending this. I did not know Bose... And I think should know him. I have read science articles and such. on plants not having nervous system arguments, and then ones arguing they do, and I don't think any thing I have read on plants ever referenced him. Academia has a history of referencing people, and clearly they don't pay enough homage. I have seen research that clearly shows plant respond in real time, even make noise that can be heard, but better amplified- identifying different noises for different responses... No reference to Bose.
I am not sure why the human nervous system has not been seen as analog to plants, with the brain being the above ground structure, and the spinal cord and branching out the root system. That seems as obvious too me as the x-ray image of a lung looks like an inverted tree.
