When I was fourteen, I was woken from a nightmare. I say woken, because I didn’t just ‘awake,’ but rather- I was moved. I found myself bathed in a light that filled every corner of the room. The only way I had to describe it at the time was ‘sustained lightening.’ I remember the event well, as if it were yesterday. I could see everything in the room, as if I could see in all directions at once. There were no shadows in the room.
