It’s hard to believe this was thirty years ago. Why and how it has resurfaced is part mystery, part conspiracy. There’s room to allow people hang on to stuff, forget about it, and then, ‘oh yeah, what did I do with that photo.’ Seeing it again today just deepens the mystery. 9pm on August 4, 1990, two hiker witnessed this diamond shaped object tracking slowly across the sky. In another image, a harrier is seen in the back ground prior to the object accelerating away at ungodly speeds. “No harriers were known to be operating in the area.”
Seriously, that sounds exactly like the Stephenville, Texas incident. In 2008 a mile long, half a mile wide object was observed by a dozen or so Stephenville residents. The object departed the area as military jets moved in. Military denied operating in that area, and later recanted when ATC data said otherwise.
The story here is that hikers took these photos. They shared it with the press, the press shared it with the the department of defense in the UK, and the photos were subsequently lost for 30 years They have resurfaced.
