The truth of about Sleeping Beauty is that there is a sequel that ‘s worth telling, we’re just waking up to the new reality.

The movie Passengers, 2016, Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence has an untold story. In one way, the movie reminds me of Amistad, in that it starts in motion and ends in motion, launching a hundred story arcs rockets from my brain. Passengers has a million other stories to tell. Maybe it’s these open spaces that make good movies good. It leaves you wondering what the heck put this in play? How does it really end? Where are we, you and me, and this ship going? The Child of Jim Preston and Aurora Lane might be the way to answer something primal, and add even more mystery.

The primary human characters are Lane and Preston. Had Preston not woke Lane up, this movie would have been Castaway in space, only the remedy of rescue always being an arm’s length away. Would a man go insane? Is this a variation of the unexplored aspects of Sleeping Beauty?
