Humans in Spacetime

The Long, Dark, Enduring Dark Night of War

There is this story in the backdrop of my mind. I think it’s narrated by Patrick Macnee: There are those who believe that life here began out there, far across the universe, with tribes of humans who may of been the forefathers of the Egyptians, or the Toltecs, or the Mayans. Some believe there may be brothers of man who even now fight to survive somewhere beyond the heavens… Could this be our real history?

Does art imitate life? It often seems fiction seems more likely than history. Mark Twain was right, fiction has to at least make sense. Jimmy Corsetti’s version of history, in the video found at the end of this essay, makes more sense to me than the one the history books present. The history as presented by Ancient Aliens, also found below, also seems to make more since than the Bible, something I was taught to accept without question. There are good arguments for questioning the Bible, like it’s been rewritten and translated so often that modern people wouldn’t recognize a real Bible if it bit them in the ass. Today’s New International Version of the Bible altered the language to make the Bible more gender neutral.

Making something more friendly doesn’t change reality. Snakes are snakes, even if you dress them up in a dress.

Why exactly do we learn…
