Gaming Life
I am fan of games. I am especially fond of RPGs, and MMORPGs. Probably because I never had a group of friends that wanted to play Dungeons and Dragons in real life, and so computer role playing games filled a need. I would have to say, hands down, Knights of the Old Republic held the greatest appeal, and it still holds my interest. It is a game that I use to compare other similar games to. There are features I have come to expect and want in game play. In some way, I think some of the things I want are under appreciated by gaming industry and there may be an untapped market. Shall we talk games?
KOTOR was fairly sophisticated, allowing for a lot of flexibility in character growth and direction. I do not like being channeled through a script. Like the game Fable, a characters decisions should influence game play, and the responses of NPCs.
I played for hours, and recently discovered it is available for download to the Ipad. It’s probably the best 10 dollar app I have purchased. I am looking forward to just playing Pazak again. In fact, if there was option just to play some of the side games in between adventuring- I would like that. If we could have a stand alone Pazak game, that also linked to KOTOR so I could take my winnings in game… Awesome.
