The Order of Eastern Stars

It was once believed that beside every good man was a good woman. Do you know any stars?

Though many might tentatively agree they know something about Free Masons, I find very few know there is an equivalent path for the ladies known as the Eastern Star. As a Mason, I was also raised a star in order that I might know the lore and rituals and the qualities of the friendship I should cultivate. The tiny, aged, innocuous book that was originally copyrighted in 1898, New Rituals of the Order of Eastern Stars that adorns the last vestiges of legacy of books I have kept secured, while the other, less valuable and more secular books went to the ‘Half-Price’, would be easily overlooked as dusty and quaint. I acquired it from a Witch holding a garage sale who was unaware of its value. We have entered a new world, but does that mean the old ways cease to serve us?

Before we dive little deeper into the mystery, of mysteries, let’s consider a little math. No matter where you go in the world, if you can do math and think through complex problems you’re considered superior.

The 47th Problem is also a solution. In this we find the three degrees not only favored by Masons, but necessary for any solid foundation to be squared.
