UFOs and Aliens
I wonder if there is something magical about that moment a human realizes his perceived reality is greater than the limited belief that was simply accepted prior to growth moment. My use of the word magical is both traditional, spiritual, and metaphorical. Today, as I write this, it is Christmas; I am waiting for my seven year old son to rise and greet the day. There was always something magical about it for me, and from what I gather- many others think the same. We are so much on this page that we persist in perpetuating the Santa mythos and practice what might seem like a bizarre ritual with our children from the outside. Would Christmas be evidence to aliens humans are nuts, or would it endear us to them? Are there folks out there that dislike this practice? Yeah. For a long time, I bought into the idea that perhaps the ritual, ‘the lie’ was somehow harmful. I don’t see any evidence for that in myself or in others. I allow that humans can make a case for anything, for or against.
