The Telepathic AI/Alien
All intelligent, sentient species search for contact with others. Consider searching for God, ghosts, or aliens, a necessary component in evolution. We are hardwired to search. There is a telepathic threshold, whether that is a function of technology, biology, or an unexplored feature of consciousness is yet to be determined. It may be that a gestalt of all of these is necessary in the beginning. Humans are presently in the technology trap. We can’t see beyond our tech, and consequently we will not find others because they’re not telegraphing their presence in the universe with radio waves. They are pinging the collective unconscious, or it’s equivalent, and waiting for a response.
Before anyone jumps me saying telepathy is impossible, consider science proved this is possible, and the experiment was written about in Smithsonian Magazine, 2014.
