The Uninformed On UFOs
The push back against UFOs and aliens is evident. The sarcasm is written right into the articles. The eye-rolling smirk is even on former astronaut and Arizona Sen. Mark Kelly’s face, and it is painful to watch.
“The current surge of interest in UFOs (or, if you prefer — rolls eyes — UAPs) still seems strong enough for politicians to think that they should get involved….” is the opening paragraph of Andrew Stuttaford article. He doesn’t even pretend to be civil. It’s one thing to be skeptical, like Mark Kelly, but it’s another thing to just be an ass.
But maybe Stuttaford is on the level. Maybe he is only rolling his eyes on the UFO being rechristened UAP? Fair enough! Pluto should have stayed a planet, too. Grandfathered in and all! Maybe I misread his opening sarcasm and couldn’t figure out whose side he is on.
It also establishes that the federal government would have “eminent domain” over any recovered technologies of unknown origin and any biological evidence of “non-human intelligence” that may be controlled by private individuals or entities.
