Health and Mental Health

Therapist, Heal Thyself

So, I have been doing this dance between medical and physical. The medical side is finding nothing wrong with me physically, and are pushing somatic theories such as anxiety. At least, we‘re pretty sure it’s not a heart issue. It could still be a circulation problem. We haven’t ruled out lungs. I am pretty sure it’s not anxiety. I am been resisting that idea. I have paid a psychiatrist to assess me, because as you know, you’re not supposed to assess yourself, and he shrugged and said, “I am not diagnosing you with anxiety.”
