One thing that is true about humanity is that individuals and the collective share a shadow. The shadow knows more than us. It runs us more often than we are likely to consciously admit. It is not malicious. It participates in a way that helps individuals and society mature, but in grappling with it, we can certainly hold doubt and suspicion of its true motifs. Governments and science call themselves the light of the new world, but in ignoring its own shadow it failed to see the forest for the trees. The shadow blinds us till we learn our lessons. It guides us where we need to be. Many of us are fast approaching a place where we’re all about to have a great deal more clarity about the real world.
