Consider how severely sperm counts have been going down, per WHO... It's worldwide, epidemic, and severe... Now imagine our descendants are time traveling to repopulate the species, trying to fix the health issues we've created in the last 100 years... Yeah, I think I would give a pass to future generations trying to help us out, even if they had to stealthily. After all, it's not like they can come and tell us why without changing the timeline, which might mess with the time travelers reality.
