UFO Data Is Out There
Perhaps it’s not the data you’re looking for, but then data is data. Why would a Unidentified Anomalous Phenomenon restrict itself to our expectations?
There is a difference between knowing and believing. The fairness of any discussion becomes determining what is inferred knowledge and what is direct knowledge. Most knowledge for most people most of the time is vicariously obtained, based on one’s ability to read, watch media, make assessments of people and presentations, and assign a value to reliability. It’s true the earth is a sphere. It’s reasonable to believe that. But do you know it? Physically observing sunsets are faster in Denver than in Dallas may be due to mountains, the earth’s curvature, or both. Using a telescope to watch boats drop below the horizon, evidence. Satellite images, and the fact we see them go overhead and know where they will be seen, all evidence for a round earth. But is that a knowing or a belief?
Going up in an airplane, or better a spaceship… You see. That’s a knowing, right? But can humans be fooled? Isn’t that the argument the skeptics make when someone reports a UFO? They saw Venus. And maybe some reports have been Venus. Venus is one of the few astronomical artifacts that can penetrate our city light…
