UFO, Mystery, Demanding Attention
Maybe humans are sleepwalking through life and this is the calling card to wake us up.
I don’t think I have ever heard someone say they saw the pyramids in person and comment that it’s, ‘just a pile of rocks.’ You walk away from that impressed. Until you walk beside it, you just can’t imagine how that pushes on your psyche. It’s not just like, how the heck did primitive man build this, but the weight of it in the earth seeps into your brain. You know it’s in the earth, right. It’s not rocks on sand. Let the gravity of it all sink in. It is huge. The monolith is back, and though not huge, it’s shiny silvery surface, and just random placement with no obvious signs on anyone bringing it in wakes a person up. It invokes mystery. Why? How? What does it mean?
Maybe it’s just art. But art is designed to go deeper than our surface attention. It gets into the subconscious. It makes us think, wonder, aspire, cry. Any art that made you cry is because it touched your soul.
