UFO Shot Down US Missile in 1964
It’s been discussed before, making it as high as an episode of Larry King. Hindustan Times article calls it a ‘space shuttle,’ even though the quotes call it a classic flying saucer. What was it?
September 15, 1964, an Atlas missile carrying a dummy warhead, launched from Vandenberg Air Force Base in California, filmed using tracking telescopes, failed. The film captured a flying saucer entering frames, flies circles around the missile, firing lasers into the missile, and then departs as the missile tumbles out of control. In a CNN interview, Bill Nye, the science guy, attempts to dismantle retired U.S. Air Force Lieutenant Bob Jacobs, but simply fails due to his obvious contempt towards Jacob. King does little to soften the hostility towards Jacob. Why is Hindustan Times reviving this story? Because once the US Government says UFOs are real and they’re not us, all these old data points have to be re-examined. Where’s the film?
If that film was released today, it would be better than the Nimitz Tic Tac UFO video the US government released in 2017. Why? Well, unlike what the Hindustan Times is trying to suggest in the headline, it wasn’t a space shuttle that took out that missile. No man made…
