Star Trek: the Original Series, 1969–71 nailed another piece of science that you may not even know exists. With it, “they” have been communicating with aliens.
Star Trek got it right. Flip phones. Floppy Disks. Earbuds. Extraterrestrial planets. Floppy Drives. Lie detectors. Universal translators. Screens! Hypospray injections. Computers. Teleportation. Faster than light travel utilizing an Alcubierre drive, perhaps? Haim Eshed, Israeli Space Defense Minister saying, ‘It’s aliens. There’s a Galactic Federation.” They have a prime directive, as evidence we’re too primitive for them to contact us. And now, actually old news but relevant today- subspace communication, or Faster Than Light communication thanks to Quantum Tunneling. Say what?!
