Axios article, Scoop: House members to receive classified UFO briefing, Andrew Solender, starts off the new year as revealing, nothing new under the sun. Another SCIFF, another closed door session, and the world continues. Meanwhile, some recent UFO stories seem to be slipping away. Like, you know you read an article on it, but now the link is broken. Chris Lehto’s latest video highlights that with the story of UFO buzzing the president’s refueling aircraft. We know there is something going on, so why can’t we know what is going on?

Fact of life is that social life is plastic, so mutable that reality can change overnight by the introduction of one new social fact. Science makes a statement, “oops, the universe is twice as old as we thought,” and suddenly a lot of astronomy books are outdated. At the rate of scientific advancement, maybe there should be only E-Books so we can update them. Then again, when facts can be removed on a whim, maybe we need a written record to hold folks accountable.

Journalists may have to take screenshots of their own articles, because they may go away. If publishing companies are suddenly blocked from speculative UFO stories, Medium may lose half its writers overnight. How much revenue…
