I know this story is convoluted, but heck, why are there not more skeptics and scientists pushing back against a government that clearly is holding secrets?
I suppose that question necessitates the opposite position, why don’t I think and ask questions more conservatively? Conservatively probably isn’t even the right word. We’re looking for a word like ‘reasonably.’ Reasonable is fairly subjective. Scientists versus lay encompasses extremes in variance in terms of reasonableness. A tribesman living in the thick of nature would have more reasonable survival skills than 90 percent of the city bred and raised folks. What would they think of that reasonableness? The CIA, from 1969 to 1985, ran a ‘weird desk.’ At the helm was Christopher ‘Kit’ Green. Why is the government studying stuff that academics won’t let in their Universities?
