Well, hello, Adam! Thank you for reading.

I do struggle with fear, but maybe that's the thing that allows us to tease out courage! Perhaps you will find this amusing. My son shared he is afraid of heights. I said, "so am I. That's okay. That's normal." He asked "It is? How do you not be afraid?" So I said, "well, I jumped out of an airplane with a parachute." He said, "really? I wouldn't like that feeling in my stomach." I said, "well, you don't experience that when falling. Maybe I was too focused on falling to feel that." Son, "so, you're not afraid of falling anymore?" Me, "Oh, no, I am still afraid of falling, but I know I can jump if I have to." LOL. Between you and me, I don't intend to jump again.
