What to do about Aliens

“What should I do?” Was a question posed to Luis Elizondo, Sean Cahill, and Curt Jaimungal by a viewer. This episode of the Podcast Channel Theories of Everything run by Curt will be found below. There are other questions and answers that likely warrant discussion, but this was so unlikely, and perhaps in a way non sequitur- and yet, perhaps so fundamentally logical that we humans, me especially, forget to do this. The question, what should I do if it’s aliens, was broadly interpreted. Should I write Congress and demand disclosure? Should I be going to meetings? Should I be preparing somehow or someway? In all honesty, if it’s aliens, what can you do? Lue recommends, “tell your family you love them.”

Was it the right answer? The way Lue sells it, it sounds right. In any experience or endeavor, humans are limited. Humans have no authority or power over a potential other that is likely thousands or millions of years more advanced than we. We have very little authority over our own lives, even confronted with normal human others. That’s the point of life, right? Cooperating with others because in truth, no one can, or should, control others.

We definitely can’t control nature, but we could Cooperate with it better than we do. What do you do in a crisis, be it war or natural disasters? The best you can. First thing you do, is…
