When Employees Fight

Stating the obvious, humans quarrel. That shouldn’t be a news flash. It did make the news. The thing being fought over seem so small. With all you hear in the news, it sometimes seems amazing we do as well as we do. Both people involved in the incident found below had a ‘right’ perspective. In being right, neither could see the bigger picture. It reminds me of one the barely tolerable, first season, episode of Star Trek: the Next Generation, in which Captain Picard states: “There can be no justice as long as laws are absolute.”

Should this thing be news? I mean, it was humans being human, right? Can humans be humans anymore without social media blowing things up?

Why do humans blow up?

All humans, more so in social settings, operate with written and unspoken rule sets. That’s just how we agree to be. Most the time, things run smoothly because we have this unspoken agreement for engagement. Sometimes accidents, or just not paying attention throws a hiccups in interaction patterns. Even then- most people make allowances for accidents and or for a person who is not really paying…
