Do you know the saying, don’t judge a book by it’s cover? Maybe there should also be a saying, don’t judge a book by it’s title. I don’t remember when I first picked up this strange book by Joan Brady. I don’t remember what influenced me to read it. I remember being annoyed by the title, which may have influenced me to read it. I sometimes try to push through biases. I thought I was about to read a cheap, Harlequin knock off. Yes, I have read Harlequin. My paternal grandmother read one a day, so there were lots available. My dad read Louis Lamour books. I found and read God on a Harley, on my own, and was blown away.
No one else in my family would touch it.
