Life After Life
When a Near Death Experiencer casually referenced, badly, Star Trek- my Spock ears perked up. I am not saying she did it badly, like in poor taste- but that she referenced such a specific artifact that I immediately knew exactly what episode she referenced. In doing so, an entire meme and metaphor for afterlife existence opened up to me.
Anne Bayford, in her interview with JeffMara, mentioned she saw lots of different beings, many of them simply projecting heads. Imagine you met Walter Cronkite in the afterlife, would he just be a talking head? “They were talking heads, like in Star Trek…” Anne said, excitedly. I do hope she was mentioning the Cytherian above, and not this next guy:
Because this guy, he was not so nice. I suppose you can meet all kinds in the afterlife… I prefer the Cytherian.
