Spiritual Science
Where Science and Spirit Meet
It should not be forgotten, science was born out of a desire for to prove there is something more. More and more, the world is discovering there is so much more than we even imagined.
Too often, science is used as a catch phrase that implies atheism. Spirit is often cast as the opposite of science. It is unfortunate that both those in the science and spiritual camps both desire to understand the world, improve our definitions, and make life genuinely better for us and the world, but we remain disconnected from each other. Maybe both science and spirit need a rebranding, a new word in the same way UFOs have become UAP. UFOs are not just unidentified objects, but they manifest as phenomena. What if science/spirit go together like space/time?
If we start with spirit, we have to acknowledge the wide variance it comes with. Spiritualism tends to reference an idea of resurrection, where Spiritism focuses on reincarnation. Allan Kardec, October 1804–31 March 1869, a French Philosopher introduced Spiritism to the world, and it has done quite well in Brazil. He was interested in the paranormal, which many people were in those days.
