Whose UFO Orb Is It?

Just in time for a good movie promo, US Government says Orbs are everywhere, including the new Transformers movie.

What is this about Orbs? Where did all the saucers go? Has science fiction finally caught up to science fact, or is science fact always been found in science fiction? How long has this movie been in the making? How recent is the metallic orb thing? Don’t remember orbs in the original Transformers, but if science fiction is echoing science fact, we’ve been knowing it’s aliens for how long?

The Transformers ran from 1985 to 1987. UFOs have been around since the 1940s? People have been watching some variety of aliens, robots, alien robots, alien ghosts, alien androids, combinations thereof since the invention of television? We have been bantering some form of alien since Hg Wells or earlier, if we include religious texts of Jinn and angels and demons to be examples of non-human intelligence.
