I would argue it's not just your body, either, but your personality is a mask for soul. Imagine all those other lives you lived. You had other bodies. You had radically different personalities. All hats you have worn.

did you know if you separated the two hemispheres of your brain you would find that the left hemisphere and the right hemisphere have their own personality, and they are radically different from each other? So, even the different hats become conglomerates which allow us to have blended, refined personalities. :)
