Yeah, I can see that. If all we're doing is destroying and moving on, what's the point? It is my hope that if in colonizing Mars, maybe even terraforming Mars, we learn how fragile systems are, and learn to fix ours, and maybe graduate to economic system that focuses on life. I would also think in that, where ever humans go, they will adapt, and change, and we learn to appreciate all the variations of humanity.

I am an old Star Trek: TOS fan. I am hopeful.
