Yeah, the Vedas seem to be talking about UFOs... I am bias, as I find if we exchange God for Alien, it works out the same.

Excellent point about authority. I would probably put things on a continuum. There are some people I am suspicious of in the UFO community, but reasonably articulate. There are some I think are nuts. There are some people that I find credible.

I can sort through some of the crazy and I can rank people in terms of perceive validity, which is based on my personal filters and is somewhat subjective... David Fravor, he is Navy, he reminds me of my father, and so he is highly esteemed. If you listen to him in that Lex Fridman video and don't find him genuine, I will likely wonder about some of your filters. I don't have to experience cancer to know cancer sucks ass. I also don't have to experience a thing to believe someone else had an experience.

The thing is, and I don't generally like discussing it, but have, and I tend to avoid sharing; I have had personal experiences. I am convinced there is more than human intelligence involved in this world.
