You need to add the '80 milliseconds' conundrum to the mix. Apparently, per neuroscience the brain make decisions anywhere from 80 milliseconds to 3 seconds prior to the person becomes consciously aware of making the decision. This is been demonstrated in fMRI where tech can tell a person what they decided before they know they decided. One reference for this is in Michael Gazzaniga's book, 'Who's in Charge.'
